In hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), BPY2C expression is regulated by the AC006262.5-miR-7855-5p axis, where the long non-coding RNA AC006262.5 suppresses tumor-suppressive miR-7855-5p, thereby facilitating BPY2C expression 1. This regulatory pathway promotes HCC cell proliferation, migration, and invasiveness, suggesting BPY2C involvement in cancer progression. The specific molecular function of BPY2C protein remains to be characterized.
