Based on limited published evidence, TRIM43B is a cytoplasmic E3 ubiquitin ligase involved in innate immune response and gene expression regulation. An associated long non-coding RNA (lnc-TRIM43B-1) was significantly downregulated in breast cancer tissues compared to non-cancerous samples, suggesting a potential role in tumor suppression 1. The lnc-TRIM43B-1 showed high diagnostic performance (AUC=0.82) for distinguishing breast cancer from normal tissues, indicating potential biomarker utility.
